*Although Broker may not require such information, a seller of real estate may often require this information prior to showing the property and/or as part of any purchase offer.

 

While this documentation is not required, it is strongly recommended that, as a best practice in a competitive market, that buyers procure a Pre-approval for a mortgage loan / proof of funds, especially when presenting an offer.
